The Phoenix Series is the most
powerful motor available for a bicycle. No maintenance is required on
any
of our hub motor
systems. There are no belts, chains, sprockets, gears, or pulleys. The wheel is
connected to the
electric motor directly. While a conventional motor is mounted by its case
allowing the axle to spin, our hub motor
is mounted by their axle, allowing the case to
spin. Directly coupling the motor to the wheel means there are no
losses in the
transmission of power to the wheel. It is direct drive,
as quiet and efficient as it gets.
